Several killed and wounded in Kandahar martyrdom attack

KANDAHAR, Jan. 16 – As part of Al Fath Operation, the headquarter of the so-called National Security Special Forces special unit, close to Kandahar base residing more than 200 troops came initially under a martyrdom seeking attack through an explosive ladon truck of a heroic Mujahid of the Islamic Emirate’s Martyrdom Regiment and followed by two martyrdom seeker Mujahideen, armed with light and heavy weapons and grenades, who entered the center and launched attacks on the remaining enemy.
Details say major part of the building has been destroyed, killing tens of enemy high ranking officers and leaving many others wounded while destroying a huge numbers of vehicles, military equipment and other tools.
The martyrdom seeker Mujahidin also eliminated the surviving soldiers inside the center of the blast and twice inflicted heavy casualties on the enemy reinforcements coming from outside.
The operation lasted till noon hours and the clash ended with the martyrdom of 2 Mujahideen.
The attack was carried out in response to the air and ground operations launched by the savage enemy in Arghandab district, in which a number of civilians, including women and children, were martyred and wounded.
